DC Solar Donates NASCAR Tickets To Las Vegas Youth

There’s nothing like a day of fun at NASCAR, and Brennan Poole’s debut at last week’s Camping World Truck Series in Las Vegas was no exception. A strong DC Solar contingent was on hand to catch all the excitement and cheer Poole on to a 11th place finish in NASCAR’s signature race featuring modified pick-up trucks. It was yet another memorable day as once again DC Solar took its green message to the track.
What made this particular event even more memorable, however, was the special group of guests we had on hand with us for the afternoon. Through our donation to the Children’s Heart Foundation, the Las Vegas Chapter of the Boy Scouts of America, and Big Brother and Big Sisters of Nevada, over 1,100 kids and their families, friends and caretakers were able to join us for the afternoon.
“We appreciate the generous ticket donation by DC Solar to the Las Vegas Area Council for this past weekend’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Race at the Las Vegas Speedway” said Ryan Moon, Director of Field Service for the Las Vegas Area Council for the Boy Scouts. “Our Scouts and enjoy racing, and especially NASCAR.”
Team DC Solar was thrilled to have so many young fans on hand for the day. As a community-minded company, we value connecting to those organizations who do such important work, and we were especially pleased to see so many happy faces last Saturday!
